Hello - I am trying to get my network card working with FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE using the PAO package (latest version on web). I did the PAO install as desscribed after doing an ordinary install of BSD. The PCMCIA modem seems to work, I haven't used it but the messages from pccardd indicate it has initialized a serial port successfully. The 3C574TX-B 3Com Fast Etherlink III does not. I did make one change to /etc/pccard.conf; I changed the name of the 574TX entry so that the 574B would recognize it. Following is my /var/log/messages section from the Etherlink III. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I had this laptop/card working with Linux and hope to switch it to FreeBSD. ============================== Sep 8 09:40:26 myname /kernel: Card inserted, slot 1 Sep 8 09:40:30 myname pccardd[53]: Card "3Com"("Megahertz 574B") [B] [001] matched "3Com" ("Megahertz 574B") [(null)] [(null)] Sep 8 09:40:33 myname /kernel: card1: assign ep0 iobase 0x240 irq 3 flags 0x1 Sep 8 09:40:33 myname /kernel: ep0: failed to come ready.
