Thanks to all for the help.

I soon discovered the problem came from trying to mount a CD-R in a
non-multi-session CDROM.

Since then, I picked up a newer CDROM and I can mount all my self-burned
CDs.

using the standard ' mount /cdrom ' works fine.

Hello Rick,

have you tried the string "iso9660" instead of "cd9660" ?
