Hi

Installed 4.1-REL on old but working machine, and now I get "Read
error" when booting machine... It ran win98 without problems :)

It has adaptec aic7850 ahc with Quantum XP34300 81HB, Phoenix BIOS
When I boot from floppy and specify da(0,a)/boot/loader everything goes
OK

I have installed freebsd tens of times on even bigger harddisks than this
3GIG quantum... and yes it has dedicated freebsd partition.

What generates this "Read error" systembios/controllerbios/bootblock ?

What should I do ?

TIA
