Hi guys, We are going to buy Quantum SDLT 320 (GB) HVD SCSI tape drive. It will be connected to FreeBSD 4.6 RELEASE with Adaptec 29160 SCSI card and UltraTrack SX8000 RAID 5 (SCSI). The system is a production FileServer (samba). Any problems with FreeBSD 4.6 and the Quantum SDLT drive? Is it recommended to upgrade to 4.7 or it should be OK with 4.6? Any ideas, recommendations and etc. are welcome! I'm sorry for asking [OT] questions here, but I've always had good response from this list :-) Thanks in advance! Miro =================================================================== P.S. I am in the list, but for some reason freebsd's mail server is rejecting my mail from 3 diferent mail servers, so I've end up with hotmail. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
