I usually just do a make -k -s -j16 tinderbox TARGETS=3D=E2=80=9Camd64 =
sparc64=E2=80=9D  or something like that for those cases.

Well, I actually try to compile all platforms all the time in a loop, =
which is why I notice but .. that=E2=80=99s a different story ;-)
