Hi, I have a question: while observing the creation of 4.3-R out of the CVS repository, I found that MAKEDEV is working for several hours (on my old box [P2/300] with a little base load), creating about 5 devices per minute. This is incredibly slow. Why? What the hell is this script doing all the time? Regards, k.j. PS: Please excuse this message being duped.
