https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=281177 holm <holm@freibergnet.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |holm@freibergnet.de --- Comment #33 from holm <holm@freibergnet.de> --- Tried today to add an ultrium 5 tape drive with fiber interface to my computer using an 2432 card. This worked approx a year before, now it's always panicing, reglardless if I load ispfw before booting or ispfw and isp are compiled in the kernel. I have 13/stable running. In 2023/24 I'm looked for a command to rescan the bus (since I want to power the tape only when I need it, [not only for saving energy, but to prevent collecting dust in the drive]). The suggestion from the forum ( https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/reprobe-unused-scsi-controller-fiber-obtical.90721/ ) was to unload/load the driver and now I have build a kernel w/o isp/ispfw..only to find out that it is broken now :-( Yes, I'm a lame duck..there where more urgent things...
