Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct mailinglist for this issue. ruby@ is listed as the maintainer. I'm looking into chef, naturally I wanted to use it on FreeBSD. Although it seems that the chef server port is not quite working. There is no /usr/local/etc/rc.d startup script, couchdb is not installed and chef seems to need an /etc/ configuration file instead of one in /usr/local/etc/. Are there FreeBSD chef server users? and what would be the way to continue? Or would it be easier to just use puppet? Regards, Roland van Laarhome | help
