FreeBSD Boot Loader Menu" . To my knowledge , nowhere there is a sufficient information about items in that menu , one by one . A good documentation of that menu , especially for items ( 3 ) ( Safe Mode ) , ( 4 ) ( Single User Mode ) , ( 6 ) ( Loader Prompt ) , and what can be done if these items are selected , may be a very useful addition to http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/boot.html Chapter 13 The FreeBSD Booting Process Especially , if a less experienced about FreeBSD person prepares such a documentation it may be very valuable guide to new users , because when such documents are prepared by very experienced persons , their "assumed knowledge" is not reflected in the documentation .
