root@sage-one>> uname -a FreeBSD sage-one.net 4.5-RELEASE-p9 FreeBSD 4.5-RELEASE-p9 #0: Fri Jul 19 21:53:39 CDT 2002 sageame@sage-one.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SAGEKERNEL i386 I've had a real annoying issue with the BIND-8.2.4 (I believe that was the #) that was in the base system. We run a couple of large International majordomo lists to readers and memberships (180 countries) and each time BIND would break several times during the send process. I am happy to report that the recent merge of Bind 8.3.3 seems to have cured that problem. I was just about to add 8.3.3 from ports, but glad to now have it in the base system instead. In fact, someone was recently complaining about this merge of 8.3.3 to the list. Just wanted to let the group know that they made someone very happy as well. Many thanks to those in the group responsible for the merge of 8.3.3...!!!! Best regards, Jack L.
