Hi I have an IBM T60 Laptop. The sound driver was not included in the default install of FreeBSD. I found the driver for the Laptop here: http://www.freebsdworld.net/showpost.php?t=2688 It works on my T60. Not sure if it works with other IBM new Laptops or other companies.
