hello all-- so, the card i'm talking about is the DAC960PTL1 or at least that's what the RAID configuration software is calling it. So, yeah, the bios is recognizing the card and this Mylex RAID EzAssist 1.00-16 seems to take the config to do mirroring. when i try to keep booting off the freebsd 4.2 cd i get halted at the point where it's waiting for scsi devices to settle i remember noting that there was support for this particular card in freebsd but i have lost the url for that and when i strarting the search again i stumbled across your mail archive and thought i would post to it.
