I'm getting ready to put FreeBSD on a system with a 486DLC CPU. I don't
believe that this little guy has a floating point unit, and am not
entirely sure if it's really a "486" or a "386 with enhancements" as
far as the FreeBSD kernel is concerned. So, when I strip down the kernel
and recompile it for this CPU, which do I specify: 386 or 486?
