I have FreeBSD 5.3 installed on my Intel D865GBFL motherboard and I have low transfer rate (I see 2.3 Kb/s in mc ) on my floppy drive 1.44 MB 3.5" for read operation. But if I have FreeBSD 4.10 installed on the same motherboard, I have 13 Kb/s.
