Be sure to set up Netscape's font prefs to use X fonts you actually have installed. I'm not sure how X handles this stuff any more but it probably guestimates (makes things fugly) when a requested font size or face doesn't exist. Typefaces are tough to masquerade. Also, you might want to confirm all the font packages are installed. Goto /stand/sysinstall->Index->Packages->(point at your package source)->x11-fonts. Select & enjoy.
