* Ain't there anybody around who actually knows what BUFHASH() is about * to do? I don't know what bufhash does, but I moved one of the DEC disks to ID 0 the CDROM drive to ID 1, and it worked fine. So the "only happens when CDROM drive at highest ID#" theory seems to hold. Satoshi
