Linux steals plenty of the spotlight, while also currently strugg= les with an anticipated C developer shortage, leading them to invest to Rus= t in hopes to attract new contributors. I got to join this mailing list because I met Deb and other members back in= FOSDEM 2023, drawing my interest to target FreeBSD as the first port of th= e tool I developed at the time. Funding issue in FOSS as a problem isn't new, and we can only hope it's goi= ng to get resolved, eventually. Fotis.
