I tried recompiling samba3 with gcc 4.2.1 20070627 and it still has the exact same problem with a ZFS share for me. If the share is completely empty then no problems are encountered. As soon any file is in the share when I try to do a remote directory listing of the share it crashes. Boris, care to share any more info on how you managed to get it working? -- Brian On 6/3/07, Boris S. <bst2006@dva.dyndns.org> wrote: > > Pascal Hofstee schrieb: > > > It looks like somehow gcc optimized out the actual assignment of dname ! > > FYI: Since I've compiled Samba with gcc 4.2.1 (from ports) samba works > fine with ZFS shares! > > Boris > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-current@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-current > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-current-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" >
