"dig -x 127.0.0.1" should return something like: ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR ;; ANSWER SECTION: 1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. 3600 IN PTR localhost. Regards, --=20 -Chuck
