http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.0R/schedule.html shows 5.0 code freeze
by October 20. However, the page also states that DP2 has so far been
delayed by over 2 months since the code is not sufficiently stable to
cut another DP. Given that, it is unclear to me how a November 20
release date for a rock-solid build could be met.

I therefore was wondering if the RE team could perhaps please evaluate
the present status of the 5.0 development effort and, if deemed
appropriate, adjust the published schedule, in particular the release
date, based on the results of this evaluation.
