It does help.  Thanks very much!

(You didn't happen to get sound 
working on your T21, did you?
I get the dreaded "channel dead"
when I play any pcm sound (CD's play
fine and the mixer works after
adding options PNPBIOS and device
pcm and device csa and a kernel 
recompile)).
