At Mon, 13 Nov 2000 it looks like Zhiui Zhang composed: ZZ-->Lilo can boot FreeBSD with no problem. The following is my ZZ-->/etc/lilo.conf. Make sure you specify the correct /dev/hdaxxx for the ZZ-->FreeBSD partition and run lilo to make /etc/lilo.conf effective. If still ZZ-->not work, try re-install FreeBSD and choose "leave MBR alone". ZZ--> ZZ--> ZZ-->other=/dev/hda3 <-- This is my FreeBSD partition ZZ--> label=freebsd And just one more question, what is your geometry setup "cylinder" wise to have LILO stretch to /dev/hda3 to FBSD ? I'm assuming /dev/hda2 is /boot. -- Bill Schoolcraft http://wiliweld.com PO Box 210076 San Francisco, CA 94121 " saevis tranquillus in undis " To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
