I'd like to play with 5.0-current on a 4.5-stable box. is it safe to use the 5 boot loader with 4.5 kernels? the shift of the kernel & modules to /boot has me worried that the MBR and other low(ish) level logic might not work well. (I'm guessing that without new bootblocks, I can't play, although you would think a farm of hard links could make the boot/kernel stuff appear in the root & /modules/ paths) -George To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
