Hi Everyone, I've compiled my kernel to support SoundBlaster pro, etc... when the machine boots it detects it fine: Sep 8 17:36:27 home /kernel: sb0 at 0x220 irq 10 drq 1 on isa Sep 8 17:36:27 home /kernel: sb0: <SoundBlaster Pro 3.1> All appears to be ok, however when I run the play command to play a 'wav' file I get this: Sep 8 17:37:36 home /kernel: Sound: DMA timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error? Sep 8 17:37:37 home /kernel: SoundBlaster: DSP Command(d1) Timeout. Sep 8 17:37:37 home /kernel: IRQ conflict??? Sep 8 17:37:37 home /kernel: SoundBlaster: DSP Command(40) Timeout. Sep 8 17:37:37 home /kernel: IRQ conflict??? Sep 8 17:37:39 home /kernel: Sound: DMA timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error? Sep 8 17:37:39 home /kernel: SoundBlaster: DSP Command(d1) Timeout. Sep 8 17:37:39 home /kernel: IRQ conflict??? ?? there isn't an IRQ conflict as I check in the visual kernel configuration tool?? Has anyone has this problem before? (P.S. - the cdrom plays music file through the sound card [cdplay]) Thanks, Quintin. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
