Tyan posted BIOS v. 2.01 on their site today (http://www.tyan.com/support/html/b_s2882.html). I was hoping this would fix the issue, but it hasn't -- the system still only sees one CPU. This is with a completely GENERIC kernel and world, rebuilt today. I've tried both with and without the "ACPI 2.0" support option in the BIOS (but always with ACPI enabled). Anyone have any suggestions? I can fall back to i386 SMP, but it seems at least some folks on this list have this working, and it would be great to know why it isn't for me. I'm not sure what kind of info would help, but I'll start with my dmesg output: $ uname -a FreeBSD odin.impactonline.org 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #0: Mon Apr 19 18:56:10 PDT 2004 root@odin.impactonline.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 $ dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
