[-- Attachment #1 --] I think the hypothesis on the crashes is not possible as all occured on the initial boot. No crashes or any other issues with the running system. It's been completely clean. The warnings I previously got, except the "Device not configured" are now gone and I do believe that your idea that the early attempt to configure em is triggering the message is most likely correct.
