[-- Attachment #1 --] I just committed a port of pkgview, a utility to help determine which version of GNOME 2 is installed. I have also added it as a GNOME 2 desktop component. You can use this tool to determine the current version of GNOME 2 you have installed. It can be helpful when filing bugs.
