WITH_META_MODE is used. Such problems do not occur when building "make packages" on custom kernels on amd64 on which I have erased all DEBUG facilities or DEBUG options. The same is with a customised PINE64 kernel. It is strange that the GENERIC kernel can be packaged. Any ideas?
