Hi Amancio, #define quoting(Amancio Hasty) // I will give a day to the list to respond if not I will commit your // patch tomorrow. We all love you contribution for FreeBSD, but shouldn't we wait a bit more than only one day ? Some people may not read email hourly as we do. :) Also, people may have some eventual problems that keeps them from reading email for a week or more and still be interested in the subject. Sometimes you're too fast in making changes that violate the basic POLA of FreeBSD committers. I even don't have a MIRO card so I'll not be affected by the proposed changes. I'm just talking about your general attitude. This is not the first time I see you doing such things so fast. Please, consider this a constructive remark and not a personnal attack. The FreeBSD multimedia community (me included) owes a lot to you. Jonny PS: I'm spamming this to FreeBSD-commiters to continue the discussion there if needed, but note that I'm not a committer myself. -- Joao Carlos Mendes Luis jonny@gta.ufrj.br +55 21 290-4698 ( Job ) jonny@coppe.ufrj.br M.Sc.
