Ascend makes the NetWarp 128 which is a passive TA based on the Siemens
chipset. Some reports from Ascend indicate that this TA is going to be
discontinued.

That person is probably me ;) At any rate, here's my current status:

I've written an adapter driver for the NetWarp under BISDN. It hasn't
been tested with a switch as I'm in the US, but seems to communicate with
the TA properly. Unfortunately I've not yet converted this driver to work
with i4b as my time is being monopolized by a paying project :(

I have also started the process of modifying the i4b Q.931 protocol code
to meet National ISDN-1 standards (NI-1 is a fairly close derivitive of
Q.931) but again my time is short until at least the end of March.

I have been trying to get Ascend to release driver source code to me
seeing as how the card is supposedly going out of production. No word
on this yet.

If anyone is interested in speeding things up while I'm bogged down,
please feel free to contact me.
