You information is very old. mpd-3.13 & FreeBSD >=4.7 (new libradius only
there) have dinamic (from RADIUS) IP assignement. There are 2
restrictions:
1) (as reported here) - mpd can not create more then 254 ng interfaces -
so you will have no more then 254 simultaneous connections at a time.
2) as found I - mpd with RADIUS cannot use Microsoft encription (MPPE)
