Under 5.0/R I'm presently getting: # cd /usr/local/linux-blackdown-jdk1.3.1/bin # ./java -version expr: syntax error java version "1.3.1_06" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_06-b01) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_06-b01, mixed mode) I didn't yet pinpoint it to the shell script line but is it a known error? -- Chris Christoph P.
