   If there is anything that I've gotten out of your long message (and
the countless other emails from you in the past), it would be that you
have absolutely no clue what being a team player means and that the word
"collaboration" isn't in your vocabulary.
   Core obviously thinks that SMPng is too difficult and too young to
have various developers going in incompatible directions and that is why
we chose a tech lead. It could have been either John or you (and in fact
I even suggested that we should consider you as a candidate), but not
*both* of you. SMPng simply isn't far enough along yet to allow developers
free reign over SMPng development. That's our opinion. It's not going
to change. Deal with it.
   I often don't like what phk says and I often disagree with him, but in
this case I do agree: We're spending way too much time arguing over this
trivial stuff and either you need to become more willing to accept the
SMPng lead tech's opinions or you need to find something else to spend
your time on. It's time for the rest of the group can get some work done.
