This is part of what jkh brought up at MeetBSD. There are some devices that run FreeBSD that generally would run RTOSes, but instead run FreeBSD to do transcoding and perform other tasks. One instance he brought up was an HDMI cable. Devices like this don't necessarily need remote access, so there's no sense in running sshd, etc on them.home | help
