This implies that a change in userland is triggering the problem. If I get some time, I'll bisect and try to figure out what the heck is goin= g on here. Unfortunately, before this became obvious to me, I rebuilt he kernel, hoping that would fix the problem and blew away the Sept. 4 kernel, so I do= n't have the hash of the working world any longer.
