I was advised to recompile the kernel & see if uticom exists in in ports in=
 the replies under this link

http://www.mail-archive.com/freebsd-usb@freebsd.org/msg01109.html

I recompiled the kernel with the given options except the fololowing option

device uark

because it was causing error something like "not recognized" & the kernel w=
orks fine. I also checked uticom & installed it by manually putting the uti=
com-0.2.tar.gz in the distfiles folder. But still, my Wireless modem is det=
ected as a "TUSB 3410 boot device" under the device node ugen0. I tried to =
kldload uticom. When ever I do that my PC reboots. Now I think I am near to=
the solution to my problem. So the only thing I would like to ask is that =
is there anything else do I have to do to finally make this wireless modem =
work?
