I manage 3 servers and I have the strangest problem, each unit has a Colorado Travan 4/8, one unit is running 3.1 and runs it ok, one unit runs 3.3 and runs well, but the current 4.0 doesn't respond the same. I built the kernel with the device wst0, but it doesn't show up in the /dev dir, whets in there is rwst0 which is ok, if it works but it doesn't. The response is /dev/rsa0 is not configured, I don't have a scsi tape so it shouldn't be configured, but the atapi still doesn't work even after making the wst0 device, which by the way wst0 shows up on the other machines in the /dev dir but not this one. Is there a bug I should know about? can you guide me through this problem? If you try making the wst0 nothing happens, should there be wst0 in dev dir?
