I happen to live in the commune of Ixelles, which is primarily
French-speaking, although they are officially dual-language.
This is a real pisser when you get some moron down at the police
station that takes an attitude like "you must speak French in order
to exist!" and refuses to acknowledge that Flemish would be an
acceptable alternative.
