The problem is Intel's confusing names. A "Pentium(R) 4 - M" is not the same as a "Pentium(R) M", and it doesn't have the MSR which the module was trying to read. (Similarly, the "Pentium(R) 4 - M" supports both "SpeedStep" and "SpeedStep 2", but not "Enhanced SpeedStep".) Colin Percival
