I never said that the technical content of your message was incorrect;
my only point was that the general tone with the sarcasm and
aggressivity was unnecessary and unhelpful.

Adam is trying to move things forward, and the intention behind his
change was reasonable, even if parts of the execution can be discussed.

If you believe there are shortcomings in the framework, the constructive
way to address them is to propose a patch or start a technical
discussion, not to complain without offering a solution.
