I got indirectly burnt by this one myself (had a tech do a remote install, didn't think to tell him to download the amd64 version ... wasn't a big deal, we just re-installed, but ..) ... is there no way of having the installer detect that a system *is* amd64 capable and having it issue a warning? - ---- Marc G.
