To avoid that problem just use .xinitrc macros - It works fine. I like to use XTerm too, and I'm just autolaunching it while I'm booting my X-Windows in same .xinitrc file. Refer to theese manuals - xinit and startx . That manuals are all that you need here. By the way - if you're assembling KDE from sources, try using gcc40 from ports collection - edit your makefiles. It will add about 20% of perfomance - I verified this fact on many different hardware configurations. Perfomance increases from 15 to 20 percents, and it's a permanent effect. Feel free to contact me if you'll have further questions - I like KDE too ;) Alexey "Steel Scorpion 666" Vesnin http://ss666.ru ICQ 31686351 [-- Attachment #2 --] 0 *H 010 + 0 *H 00 fNԞ 0 *H 010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru0 050302112739Z 060302112739Z010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U Alexey Vesnin1"0 *H AVesnin@mirknigi.ru0"0 *H 0 c<~|5_1+(:@=oY]T̎zi763OvN7px߭নcvdvoʍl%!g;!46VA|dZ'K;J*6*9U8F [%vTװZS-RcI'&((^ls|UnVPYrOX%u8=]QّٯpW$jlf%KJ:B!.z@tGz58Bu3-REjx2Sf.{){qeВT )c?6,S\>^`eF=̌ѓ9 f$13u+۔5IwA"+QIJ\@ѯ4y-|I="f^18'd|ݩ %e״SeEa" |=+je ~oŃ(ޔE/PMjnLŕu$\PWg=( 00 U0 0 `HB Mir Knigi LLC CA0U;K>C)0U#0rT67#f^HwO010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru fNԞ0 *H _C\k:FNUn iG +R*mi &⍊.&b]s\21=YE7Vbm ZLbEԫ]gJK dMiX.ayDΚ,8bLu37(to~\\G5Y(&ٷ*msP^$ 2*V09QfS^^=hMf|K*0lc:[Ov%i_*$Le>xtZS7 ^W&i>"+=Pëw! 8cIO>I]c)S|N'E hyB|AC4K )](gm xiw8zuz8BA pf1BHv{aQc@_2hȺݣ̇Sdt](t @gC*Yx Zϒ) 庉^D7{p=/&00 fNԞ 0 *H 010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru0 050302112739Z 060302112739Z010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U Alexey Vesnin1"0 *H AVesnin@mirknigi.ru0"0 *H 0 c<~|5_1+(:@=oY]T̎zi763OvN7px߭নcvdvoʍl%!g;!46VA|dZ'K;J*6*9U8F [%vTװZS-RcI'&((^ls|UnVPYrOX%u8=]QّٯpW$jlf%KJ:B!.z@tGz58Bu3-REjx2Sf.{){qeВT )c?6,S\>^`eF=̌ѓ9 f$13u+۔5IwA"+QIJ\@ѯ4y-|I="f^18'd|ݩ %e״SeEa" |=+je ~oŃ(ޔE/PMjnLŕu$\PWg=( 00 U0 0 `HB Mir Knigi LLC CA0U;K>C)0U#0rT67#f^HwO010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru fNԞ0 *H _C\k:FNUn iG +R*mi &⍊.&b]s\21=YE7Vbm ZLbEԫ]gJK dMiX.ayDΚ,8bLu37(to~\\G5Y(&ٷ*msP^$ 2*V09QfS^^=hMf|K*0lc:[Ov%i_*$Le>xtZS7 ^W&i>"+=Pëw! 8cIO>I]c)S|N'E hyB|AC4K )](gm xiw8zuz8BA pf1BHv{aQc@_2hȺݣ̇Sdt](t @gC*Yx Zϒ) 庉^D7{p=/&100010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru fNԞ 0 + #0 *H 1 *H 0 *H 1 050411054217Z0# *H 1 uMSQԩzV0R *H 1E0C0 *H 0*H 0 *H @0+0 *H (0 +710010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru fNԞ 0*H 1010 URU10 UMoscow10 UMoscow10U Mir Knigi LLC10U ITSecurity10U ITSecurity1#0! *H root@bsd.mirknigi.ru fNԞ 0 *H Y]ԤJU_˺ΉZЉJY{2v?Nu78}hk|f"]oNj)>闙%'DCkD]?GwلyU9Ρ` - Ui *BdSxQhbM!i)J%vu&䎴˗{up7Ov76e[V/2Ƽ9\ΝC,|4o%F_'Qa4n|wZԀlVXKZ+vɀR":s<?PjFdY[;υM=fLȏPEq~/yvy*V!C~M:{~u˗~_.?~יvG"vmJ3ꇅc?0FYQЯ8CR6=zǥ[y. q1Kg%2koR@ۅ[mSDh'_WEd., Z9O *͞
