There is nothing magic about DCD as far as NTPsec is concerned. What it needs is a file name that can be turned into a file handle to pass to time_pps_create() I don't have PPS working on a BBB, but Linux works with PPS on GPIO on Raspberry Pi. -- These are my opinions.
