Ok I just:

cvsup'd latest current
rebuilt libkvm
rebuilt a new kernel
deinstalled pidentd
rebooted
rebuilt pidentd
HUP'd inetd

And it still keeps failing on non-local lookups with NO-USER.
I cant grawk why it's doing this.
