Somehow your linux.ko is broken, do you perhaps have WITHOUT_LINUX= in /etc/src.conf or /etc/make.conf? Check the last modification date of /boot/kernel/linux.ko, does it correspond (roughly) to the one from /boot/kernel/kernel? About the kernel option, try COMPAT_LINUX32.
