If FreeBSD becomes too hard for you to keep in sync, I will be among the
first that asks for this back.
Yes, I've been down on the concept of "maintainership" off and on for a
long time, mostly when I've felt that it's been taken too far and too
excessively. That's mostly because I haven't felt that any examples
have needed any sticking up for until now.
