No, I've looked for some problem with my hardware since I did download of 4.6RC2 iso image. I was using same devices but with other mother board ASUS A7VE and Athlon 900MHz, now I'm using a mother board TekRam with Celeron 433MHz. I've changed the mother board because I was thinking there was a promblem with that. This machine is used for install several HD's for upgrades and new servers, I've used this machine for more than 1 year without errors. Now it's always hangs when installing 4.6RC2 or 4.6RC4 using ATAPIs CD-ROMs. I think there is some problem with "acd" driver (or with "ata"). There are tow main aspects to believe this: 1 - Using same hardware it's always work fine for all version of FreeBSD 4.x before 4.6RC; 2 - Using same hardware with a SCSI CD-ROM for installation, I can install entire packages, bin, ports and srcs and all works fine. In the attach file is reported my last configuration, it differs only in cd0c which was added. I've ever changed my ATAPI CD-ROM to test but the same problem is happening.
