If you have not done so, I would highly encorage you to reduce the max size of
the arc cache and see if your problems go away.  Reduce it by the size of any
VM's your running in bhyve or virtual box.

Add something like this to /boot/loader.conf:
vfs.zfs.arc_max=6442450944
