I believe the use the DEC tulip chipset. Two major caveats that we were able to work around: 1) I have serious doubts that the PCI bus could really handle four full duplex, 100mb/sec ethernet streams and eight T1 streams at the same time. However, we found that we have never come close to fully loading the 10/100 cards. While they will burst more than 10mb/sec, I don't think we ever go over 30mb/sec on any card at any given time. The router we are using these on has been up 115 days and has dropped about 2040 packets of the 40 billion routed during that period. 2) We were never able to get the Zynx cards working reliably with Etinc two or four port T1 cards. However, since we have never been able to get the Etinc cards working reliably in any configuration with either BSD/OS or FreeBSD, I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with the Zynx cards. good luck! fletcher To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
