Hello, Sysinstall(disklabel) still chooses a size of 20 MB for the /var partition. This is, in my opinion, way too small since the installing of packages uses /var/tmp (maybe adding a separate /var/tmp partition to the defaults would be interesting?). I've mentioned this also before the 4.4-RELEASE, but then there was too little time to change it, and i just took a look at -STABLE, and it isn't fixed there yet... Hereby, again the suggestion to re-evaluate those values. Also, maybe it's nice to have just one /tmp or /var/tmp partition as explained in the tuning(7) manpage?
